I succumbed to the audio thing (after a million tries, it worked). It is basically a mini conversation with my sister, R23. She and I discussed inter racial relationships. So, listen and tell me what you think. Be nice!!!!

In the end it all comes down to one's personal taste or belief i guess..i mean whatever works for you, go for it-complications and all*
It's all about the experience like you've rightly said,it's also about understanding the different ways of life and culture that each person is bringing to the table, and personally i have nothing against inter racial relationships, none at all.
I'm liking this audio post of a thing...be on the lookout for more on that.
Good job R23,L-VII..
You guyz did a good job and you both have a nice accent by the way..
Everybody for their own. it all depends on the individual. if you are comfortable going out with people from another race, kudos to you.
i might try this audio post thing, but my accent is... well until then. Nice job chica
Miss L, I like your voice a bit too much. Lol. I do feel you on the interracial thing. My first bf was white and i loved him, but I kept having to explain pieces of me to him. It got old...
Guess it all boils down to how well the individual checks the key boxes we all have.. Nice voices too...
@Blogeratti, I am happy you listened to it. It is always refreshing to hear what a man thinks about love of any kind.
@BSNC, you know we are all curious to hear what you have to say.... I certainly do, lol.
@Miss Lowlah, what you said is exactly what I fear about the whole thing, the need to explain little things, it'd get tedious in no time.
L.
I Liked the audio post, Thank you both for sharing your thoughts on the subject.
My friends and i have had this sorta conversation a few times before, i'm the only one who hasn't dated outside my race or nationality.
At first the called me racist and then close-minded.
I'm an open-minded person i just haven't been in a position where i have bonded with someone outside my (box).
To avoid writing a book on your blog. We all have choices, this is the beauty of life. Who we date should only matter to us and not what anybody else thinks
Yea Gochi u have a point........it all boils down to choice.
I dnt think not wantin 2 date sum1 outside ur race makes u racist.......you gotta do wts rite 4 u nd if dat aint rite for you den hey.......
Thanx 4 sharin ur opinion, dat was a rily nice audio blog.
L-VII!!! So you did it ? well done ...you should of give me a shout out mate!!
I'm on the same page with you on interracial relationships , I'm not racists but I wouldn't marry a non nigerian guy. no offence to anyone who would it's just based on things that I would like in my relationship ...hope thts understood
p.s true british ladies , hear those accents! i love em!
@Ms.Flyhigh, Yea, shout out to you....lol. I am with you on that but it seems a lot of people are leaning in the way of inter racial relationships these day.
Me i want to move to England and acquire a British accent as well.
I will have to agree with you on basically everything you guys have said. I think culture is very important and that you cannot play with.
lol@other comments.
...your BRITISH accent.
I am not really for or against interracial marriages though
Hold on a sec.. LVII is pronounced "el-seven"????
D'oh! *proceeds to slap self on head*
Always pronounced it "el vee"
I've played both scenes and in many ways, white women don't come with the inherent drama you get with a black woman.. at least the ones I've been with..
But there's just something about a black woman..
"Everytime you try to leave somethin keeps calling you back"
Nice Anon, I dunno, I hate my voice, too deep but hey.
Seye, I am not against it, it is just not for me.
RocNaija, I need you to elaborate or I will inform BSNC! Wetin you mean by drama? I am sure most bloggers think it 'el vee' lol.
How much time have we got...?
:-D
@Roc, as much as you want dahlin'. I am all ears.
culture....culture....i think dats wat makes inter racial relationships difficult but if both partners are tolerant then there shud b no problem aside d normal relationship wahalas
i personally wouldn't date a person who's not African, but my family is so inter-twined our family reunions are like UN meetings...so i actually get to appreciate our different cultures..and its worked for my brother n his wifey..and my cousins...so its a personal choice i guess
@Wellsbaba, I concur, totally.
@shonaVixen, it can work,as with any relationship but....
L.
I also agree that it is an individual thing. The problem I have with the dating itself is all the stares/attention that people that relationship get. All said and done it is about tolerance of both parties.
Im using my phone now so i cant listen :(
